Female Wrestling: Kylie Rae Wrestler News

“It was a personal choice to leave AEW. Nobody forced me to do it,” says Kylie Rae.

Here is the latest Kylie Rae wrestler news.

The 27-year old professional boxer, Kylie Rae, made the sudden decision to leave All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after many years of building a steady and stable wrestling career on its shoulders. The news of this release was officially confirmed by president of the AEW, Tony Khan, who said in a media scrum after an All Out pay-per-view that Rae asked to be withdrawn from the company, and an agreement was amicably issued from both parties. From that day on, she stopped being a part of the wrestling roster.

What Really Happened?

Although Khan refused to offer any more information about the matter, reports coming in confirmed that the young professional boxing star has been missing-in-action because of an undisclosed health battle she was fighting, but she was expected to resume normal activities as soon as possible.

Her unsteadiness became obvious when she missed a match that was scheduled to be held on the pre-show of the AEW’s Fyter’s Fest to fight against Leva Bates, and she was immediately replaced by Allie. The last time she even wrestled for the company was during the Fatal Four Way at Double or Nothing, along with Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Awesome Kong in 2019.

More on Kylie Rae wrestler news, she soon broke the silence on Instagram a few months later on why she left the company in a bid to debunk the rumors spreading, saying that it was a personal decision and an agreement was reached from both parties. She appreciated the fact that AEW skyrocketed her career in ways she could have never imagined, and she would always be grateful to them, but her decision to leave stemmed from a personal interest and a desire to get all parts of her life heading towards the right direction.

Shortly after this post was released, she deactivated most of her social media accounts and canceled a lot of engagements and bookings.

This singular act makes Rae the first contracted member to leave AEW in the company’s history. Plus, reporters speculate that since the split was done amicably by both parties, she can always link up with AEW for future events if she wants.
