Last week, i wrote about My Top 15 Firefox Extensions. Toolbars are much more handy and useful than other normal extensions. In fact, i had mentioned 3 toolbars(Web Developer, del.icio.us, Imageshack) within that post. But, in reality i use a lot of toolbars. They count to 10 including the navigation bar.
This might seem a small number for people having 1280 x 1024 or higher resolution. But i have only 1024 x 768. The webpage would be displayed only in about 50% of the screen. Check out the screenshot below.
I’ll tell here what the extra toolbars are. The first two are Navigation Toolbar and FF’s inbuilt Bookmarks toolbar respectively. The third one is the del.icio.us toolbar, which makes it very easy to save links to del.icio.us. The next is the Web Developer toolbar about which i have told already.
The fifth one is Stumble Upon toolbar. I have a lot time when i don’t have any work. So i just start Stumbling Upon new sites. I keep the “Internet Tools” category up to date, such that it displays this message very often ” You have seen all pages in this category. Please try some other categories”. :D. Then comes Imageshack toolbar and Google toolbar. The 8th one is the Compete toolbar. I use it to boost my Compete rank since Alexa isn’t available for Firefox. The next one is my Clever Tutorials, which i created using Conduit. Since i am the creator, i should have it installed atleast to track errors. The last one is the vertical one – All in one sidebar, which displays most of Firefox’s windows within a sidebar.
Now, i think i use the most toolbars in FF. If you use more than what i do, feel free to share yours in the comments.
Wow dude – that is epic! I guess I’m a browser minimalist; I’ve just got the FF basics on mine. Each unto their own!
