It has been a nightmare for me yesterday. :( I accidentally deleted my blog folder from the server. And, I didn’t have a backup. My host had a backup of the contents from the start of the month. So, I had to re-upload the new theme, post images etc.. So I took down the blog.

And, I moved my blog to a new host. So, time for which the blog was inaccessible for you can vary from person to person, depending on your location, due to DNS updates. Finally, I’m back here :) Many tweaks that I did to this new theme was lost. So, if you find something broken, do let me know so that I can fix it.

Do You See What I See ?

Recently, I notice something. When I submitted my blog to BrowserShots, I noticed that all the screenshots showed a different font than what I’ve used in my stylesheet, which is “Lucida Grande”. I thought that it maybe so because those are captured by robots maybe. So, I want you do me a favour. Click on the image to your right, and also check out this post. Then, comment below in this post letting me know :

1. Whether the font you see in your browser is the same as what you see in the image.
2. Whether the “popular posts” box and my photo are of the same height.

This will really help me fix the theme, if it were wrong. Thanks :)

Over the next 10 days, I’m having exams at college. This might affect my posting frequency. But, don’t worry, not too much. At last, at last, Gmail gets support for Audio and Video chat. Its indeed true that Google is paying more attention to the chat integrated with Gmail rather than the desktop Gtalk client. But, who cares… All that i needed was Audio and Video chat and now i’ve got it. The only purpose that i have Yahoo Messenger on my desktop is to do video chat with my relatives abroad. Finally, i can dump it now… Cheers to Google…
