I’ve read that the Problogger Darren Rowse has a folder called "posts in progress", which is filled with text files of half finished posts. In the past, I never followed the practice and thought it wasn’t just worth it. But, after I started using Windows Live Writer, I started saving a lot (really, a lot) of drafts. Sometimes a new idea for a post comes to my mind when browsing some site, chatting with friends, writing another post, eating snacks and even during the middle of a sleep. Whenever it does, I just open my Windows Live Writer and jot down my ideas into a post and press the "Save Draft" button. As its the case with Darren, some of these are just the post titles. Others have few points that need to be expanded.
The result ? I now have a large list of ideas for posts in the coming weeks. Just that I’ve to spend some time in expanding each into an actual post. :) But, that doesn’t take as much time as it takes to think an idea for a new post.
Also, whenever I open my Windows Live Writer (it happens often), this list of drafts stand right in front of my eyes. So, I’m tempted to open them, motivated to write them. The serve as my goals. And also provide some real motivation. After all, that is what all bloggers need. So, if you are not already drafting, start doing from today. :)
PS : Even when writing this post, an idea to write a post about "Left align or Right align Images for Blog Posts". So, I’ve saved a draft for that. You can expect it sometime soon.

Thanks….
It’s very useful thing
yes i like to save my drafts as well, it often gives me more idea for later on blogging or writings, i found that when ever i write a new article or new blog i always look back on my old drafts for motivation or ideas.
Sam, that’s a very nice practice too..
Saving drafts really motivates me to write post.It is great method!
I strongly agree with you. I also love saving Drafts whenever I have a topic for my blog. Because you can put more relevance and sensibility to it after brainstorming of your topic.
Hi Hari, I really liked this article because this is a technique that i have been using for sometime. It is good to see that i am not the only one who finds it useful!
Another little trick that I use is to open all of the sites in my browser that i will need to do a project before I walk away from the computer for a break, that way i already have one foot in the door when i start back up again. It is true that starting something is half the battle!
I really enjoy your blog, keep up all the great work here.
Hey, Even i use the second trick that you mentioned.. My computer will be ON most of the time.. So, whenever i come across a website/blog post that i want to check out later, i just open and keep them in my browser :)
Glad you like my blog :)
Can you provide more information on this?

I really liked your blog with the acne-Dead Sea cosmetics mention.
