Yes, the best editor Windows Live Writer is available only for Windows. Of course there are ways to run it on a Mac or Linux.. But still, the feel is lost when doing so…

Hari, you know wat, this is my first time knowing we can blog directly from desktop. I never tried it before.. All i use is wordpress online editor.

I use WLW and recently I’m having problems of unable to add new blog accounts.
I like the features on WLW and choose it above anything else, but their customer service is below standard IMO. Yes, even they’re Microsoft.

The first time I send them an email, it got responded quickly and I was told to reinstall to fix the problem. But it didn’t work and they escalate my email to their superior.

My email has been escalated again and again and when I asked when am I going to be provided a real solution, it never got replied till now.
