Yesterday, 07-07-07, the new 7 wonders of the world were announced based on internet voting. I was very eager to know the results to find out whether Taj Mahal, made it into the Seven (because, i’m an Indian). I’m very happy that it continues to be one of the 7 Wonders. I also heard that Taj had the most number of votes. But i don’t know how far it is true. Anyway, Taj really deserves to be one among them. The other 6 are as below :
- Chichén Itzá, Mexico
- Christ Redeemer, Brazil
- The Great Wall, China
- Machu Picchu, Peru
- Petra, Jordan
- The Roman Colloseum, Italy
Nice to see the Taj make it. … And if you just can’t get enough wonders today, here is another such list: “The 7 Wonders of the Internet.”
