I was reading a post on An Evil way to increase RSS stats over at Jon Lee and i noticed a very cool Dropdown RSS Feed Icon. Maybe he knew that everyone would be interested to know about it, he has a “what?” link below that.
FeedBuddy is simple tool which saves a lot of space by displaying the various Feed Readers’ buttons in a drop-down box. You need not be a genius to get it right. You can simply go to http://feedbuddy.net, enter your feed URL and get the code for Feed Icon. As Jon suggests, FeedBuddy should consider offering the option of choosing which chicklets to display.
They offer buttons of two sizes. I tried adding both of them to be sidebar. But i removed them as they didn’t look well here and also because i already have a clean looking RSS button :D.
UPDATE : I am adding the Feed Button here for preview purposes :

The FeedBuddy project has been resurrected and got a new name and location. Meet http://FeedKnopka.com
